Card Reader Works but DEX Data Is Missing

Card payment and DEX reporting are separate. If cards work but cash sales or inventory data are missing, troubleshoot DEX separately.

Payment can work without DEX

MDB can handle the live vend while DEX carries audit data. Missing DEX does not necessarily stop card sales.

Check whether the machine/controller supports DEX, whether an extension cable is required, and whether the reader is configured to collect it.
